RV camping is a blast...except for when it gets uncomfortably hot as temperatures skyrocket. If your camper doesn't have air conditioning, or if it's not powerful enough to keep things cool enough, read on! Below we offer tips for keeping your RV cool on hot days.

1. Use Fans

Fans can be a great way to circulate air and boost the comfort inside of a hot camper. Some people even put a fan in their window so that it brings in the cooler outside air directly into the RV.

2. Park in the Shade

Whenever possible, try to park your RV in the shade. This will help reduce the heat building up inside the camper.

3. Get Solar Shades

Solar shades get added to windows and help keep out harsh sun rays. They are often made from a material that allows you to still see through them and enjoy the beautiful view outside the camper. But they help prevent some of the heat from getting inside your RV.

4. Dress for the Heat

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that won't make you too hot. Natural fabrics like cotton are usually best in hot weather. It's also helpful to wear clothing with breathable and moisture-wicking features to help fight sweat buildup.

Following these tips should help you stay cool on even the hottest days. Just remember to also drink plenty of water and rest up if you start to feel too hot!
